Sacred Fire Rituals — Vedic Puja Vidhi
Surya Havan
Surya Havan is a sacred fire ritual dedicated to Lord Surya, the sun god and giver of life, light, and energy. Offerings of sesame seeds, ghee, and red sandalwood are made into the sacred fire while chanting the Aditya Hridayam and Gayatri Mantra. This havan is performed to invoke solar energy, improve health, boost vitality, and remove the malefic effects of a weak Sun in the birth chart. It is especially powerful when performed at sunrise on Sundays and during Uttarayana.
