Sacred Fire Rituals — Vedic Puja Vidhi
Navagraha Havan
Navagraha Havan is a powerful Vedic fire ritual performed to propitiate all nine planetary deities simultaneously. It neutralizes the malefic effects of planets in one's horoscope, strengthens beneficial planetary influences, and harmonizes cosmic energies in one's life. Each of the nine planets — Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangal (Mars), Budh (Mercury), Brihaspati (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu, and Ketu — is offered specific oblations including dedicated woods, grains, and herbs associated with that planet.

Benefits
Reduces malefic planetary effects (doshas) such as Shani Sade Sati, Mangal Dosha, and Kaal Sarp Dosha, brings clarity and balance to all areas of life governed by the planets, improves health, career, relationships, and finances, and creates a protective shield of positive cosmic energy.
Step-by-Step Procedure
Set up a large Havan Kund. Draw a Navagraha Mandala (nine-square grid representing all planets). Place each planet's symbol or idol in the respective square. Perform Ganesh Puja and Kalash Sthapana. The priest recites each planet's specific mantra (108 times each) while offering dedicated oblations — wheat for Surya, rice for Chandra, red lentils for Mangal, green gram for Budh, chickpeas for Brihaspati, white rice for Shukra, sesame for Shani, black sesame for Rahu, horse gram for Ketu. Conclude with Purnahuti and aarti.
Best Time (Muhurat)
Sunday for Surya dosha, Monday for Chandra, Tuesday for Mangal, Wednesday for Budh, Thursday for Brihaspati, Friday for Shukra, Saturday for Shani. For the full Navagraha Havan, choose Pushya or Hasta Nakshatra day.
