Step-by-Step Procedure
Prepare havan kund and light the sacred fire. Invoke Ganesha and then Goddess Durga with Durga Dhyana mantra. Offer red flowers, sesame seeds, bilva leaves, and ghee while chanting the Navarna Mantra (Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundaye Vichche) 108 times. Recite Durga Saptashati (700 verses). Conclude with purnahuti and Durga aarti.
Best Time (Muhurat)
Navratri (both Chaitra and Sharad) is the most powerful time. Also auspicious on Ashtami, Navami, Tuesday, and during eclipses for protection rituals.
