Nature of the Content

VedicBirth publishes Jyotish calculations and interpretations for entertainment, cultural, and spiritual guidance. Birth chart readings, Vimshottari dasha predictions, transit (gochar) notes, and muhurat timings are offered in the tradition of classical Indian astrology and are not a substitute for professional medical, financial, psychological, or legal advice.

Do not make life-changing decisions (medical treatments, surgeries, investments, marriages, legal filings, or job changes) solely on the basis of a kundli, a dasha period, or a dosha reading shown on this site. Always consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.

Calculation Methodology

All planetary positions, nakshatra placements, and varga divisions follow the sidereal zodiac with Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsha as our default. The twenty- seven nakshatras, sixteen standard vargas, and one hundred and twenty year Vimshottari dasha cycle are computed using the Swiss Ephemeris library. Astrology is interpretive. Two qualified Jyotish practitioners can reach different conclusions when reading the same chart, especially for nuanced matters such as yoga activation, dasha strength, or aspect weighting. VedicBirth provides one reasoned reading grounded in classical sources; it is not the only valid reading.

No Warranty

The content is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. While we compute positions to arc-second precision and cross-check published panchangs, typographical errors, timezone database drift, or source text disagreements can occur. You are responsible for verifying any result that you intend to act upon.

Acceptable Use

You may use VedicBirth for personal exploration and for paid or unpaid consultations with your clients, whether you are a professional astrologer, a pandit, or a student. You may not scrape the site in bulk, re-publish full pages without credit, attempt to overwhelm the service, or circumvent any technical protections. Search engine and AI crawlers that follow our robots.txt directives are welcome.

Intellectual Property

Interpretive text, design, and code on VedicBirth are owned by the site operator. Classical Jyotish concepts such as grahas, bhavas, nakshatras, and dashas are part of a shared cultural heritage and are not claimed as proprietary. Short quotations with attribution and a link back are permitted.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be signalled by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of VedicBirth after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
