Step-by-Step Procedure

Purify yourself with bath. Set up Shivalinga on altar. Begin with Ganesh puja. Chant Sri Rudram while pouring each sacred substance over the Shivalinga. Offer bilva leaves, bhasma, and dhatura. Conclude with Shiva Aarti and Mahamrityunjaya mantra.
