Vishnu & Vaishnava — Vedic Puja Vidhi
Ekadashi Puja
Ekadashi Puja is observed on the 11th day (Ekadashi) of both the waxing and waning lunar fortnights — totaling 24 sacred Ekadashis each year. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and involves a strict fast, vigil, and intense devotional worship. Devotees chant Vishnu mantras, recite Ekadashi Mahatmya, and observe nirjala (waterless) or phalahar (fruit-only) fast. Each Ekadashi has a unique name and specific ritual significance.
