Satyanarayan Puja is one of the most popular Vedic rituals performed across India to invoke the blessings of Lord Vishnu in his form as Satyanarayan — the lord of truth. It is performed on auspicious occasions like housewarmings, marriages, business inaugurations, and monthly on Purnima (full moon). The puja involves recitation of the Satyanarayan Katha (five chapters), offering panchamrit, flowers, and tulsi to the deity, and distributing prasad (sheera) to all attendees.

Step-by-Step Procedure
Set up a clean altar with Vishnu idol or image. Place panchamrit ingredients (milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar). Invoke the deity with Vedic mantras, perform abhishek, offer tulsi, flowers, fruits. Recite all five chapters of Satyanarayan Katha. Offer aarti and distribute sheera prasad.
