Ekadashi Fasts — Hindu Sacred Fast
Yogini Ekadashi Vrat
Yogini Ekadashi falls on the Krishna Paksha Ekadashi of the Ashadha month (June–July). It is named after the Yoginis — divine tantric goddesses — and is considered one of the most powerful Ekadashis for curing diseases, especially skin ailments and chronic illnesses. The Bhavishya Purana narrates how a gardener named Hema was cursed with leprosy and was freed by observing this Ekadashi. Devotees who fast on this day are said to earn merit equal to feeding 88,000 Brahmins.
