Procedure
Observe fast. Wear white or light-colored clothes. Worship Lakshmi with lotus flowers, coins, and sweets. Chant Shri Sukta or Lakshmi mantra. If observing Santoshi Mata vrat, read the Santoshi Mata Vrat Katha. Avoid sour food throughout the day.
