Vivah Puja
Vivah Puja is the sacred Hindu wedding ceremony — one of the most important of the Shodasha Samskaras. It joins two souls in a divine union before Agni (fire) as witness, with Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi invoked for blessings of love, prosperity, and progeny. The ceremony includes Ganesh Puja, Kanya Daan, Var Mala, Saptapadi (seven sacred steps around the fire), Sindoor Dana, and Mangal Sutra ceremony, guided by a Vedic priest reciting Sanskrit shlokas.

Step-by-Step Procedure
Begin with Ganesh Puja and Navagraha Puja. Perform Kanya Daan — the bride's father gives her hand to the groom. Exchange Var Mala (flower garlands). Tie the Granthi (sacred knot). Perform Saptapadi — seven steps around the sacred fire with each step representing a vow. Apply Sindoor (vermillion) and tie the Mangal Sutra. Conclude with blessings from elders and Purnahuti (final oblation).

Auspicious Muhurat determined by Vedic astrologer based on both horoscopes. Preferred months: Magha, Phalguna, Vaishakha, Jyeshtha. Avoid Adhik Maas and Pitru Paksha.
