Vaikunta Ekadashi Puja
Vaikunta Ekadashi is the most auspicious of all 24 Ekadashis, observed on the Shukla Ekadashi of Margashirsha (December–January). On this day, the Vaikunta Dwaram (the gate to Vishnu's celestial abode) is said to be open, and souls who observe the fast and puja attain liberation. Vishnu temples hold special events with Thiruvadhyayana Utsavam. Devotees observe strict fast, chant Vishnu Sahasranama throughout the night, and pass through the Vaikunta Dwaram at temples.

Step-by-Step Procedure
Begin fast at sunset on Dashami. On Vaikunta Ekadashi morning, take holy bath and worship Vishnu with maximum devotion — offer tulsi, yellow flowers, lotus, and panchamrit. Chant Vishnu Sahasranama 1008 times. Observe complete night vigil with Vishnu bhajans. At dawn, break fast only after puja. If near a Vishnu temple, pass through the Vaikunta Dwaram (special entrance opened only on this day).
