Sacred Fire Rituals — Vedic Puja Vidhi
Saraswati Havan
Saraswati Havan is a sacred fire ritual dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom, arts, and learning. Oblations of sesame, barley, and fragrant herbs are offered into the sacred fire while chanting Saraswati mantras and the Saraswati Ashtakam. It is especially performed before examinations, at the start of an academic year, on Vasant Panchami, and by students, artists, and scholars seeking divine grace for intellectual pursuits.
