What does right eye twitching mean for a man?

Right eye twitching for a man is considered highly auspicious (shubh) in Vedic Shakun Shastra. According to classical texts including Brihat Samhita by Varahamihira, the right side of the body in males is governed by the Sun, the planet of authority, vitality, financial power, and outward success. When a man's right eye twitches, it signals incoming good news, financial gain, professional advancement, or favourable developments in current endeavours.

The upper eyelid twitching for a man's right eye is considered a signal of general good fortune, small monetary gain, or a pleasant social encounter. Lower eyelid twitching is treated as a stronger omen: it may indicate significant financial windfall, important news from a long-distance source, or professional recognition.

If the twitching occurs in the early morning hours (Brahma Muhurta, 4–6 AM), Shakun Shastra considers this the most potent form of the omen, meaning the incoming benefit is near and significant. Afternoon twitching is mildly positive; evening twitching is the weakest form.

Shakun Shastra also correlates the duration of twitching with the magnitude of the incoming event. A twitching that lasts several minutes and recurs over 24–48 hours is considered a strong signal. A single brief spasm is treated as minor.

No specific remedy is required for an auspicious omen like this.
