Begin with Ganesh puja. Set up Mangal yantra on a red cloth. Offer red flowers, red lentils (masoor dal), and jaggery. Light a ghee lamp. Perform Hanuman puja as Hanuman controls Mars. Chant the Mangal Beej mantra "Om Kram Kreem Kroum Sah Bhaumaya Namah" 108 times. Recite Mangal Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa. Offer prasad and donate red cloth and masoor dal.
