Kali Puja is performed to honor Goddess Kali — the fierce form of Shakti who destroys evil and ignorance. Step-by-Step Procedure
Perform at night (midnight is most auspicious). Set up Kali image. Offer red hibiscus flowers, red sandalwood, and blood-red items. Chant Kali beej mantra (Krim). Recite Mahakali stotra or Devi Mahatmya. Offer prasad of sweets made with jaggery.
