Hessonite Garnet (Gomed) — Gemstone for Rahu

Hessonite Garnet, known as Gomed or Gomedha in Sanskrit, is the gemstone of Rahu (the North Node of the Moon) in Vedic astrology. Rahu is a shadow planet (Chhaya Graha)—it has no physical form but its mathematical point of intersection has profound karmic effects on human life.
