Antya Nadi Dosha is the gravest sub-type within the Nadi Dosha category, arising when both partners share the Antya (last/Kapha) Nadi. The Antya Nadi governs completion, ending, dissolution, death, and the Kapha dosha — heaviness, inertia, accumulation, and cold. When two constitutionally Kapha-dominant individuals unite, classical Jyotish holds that the energies of stagnation, heaviness, and death-related karma are amplified rather than balanced. Parasara Hora Shastra and Muhurta Chintamani both single out Antya-Antya unions as carrying risk of one partner's early death or prolonged widowhood, severe chronic illness, and deep emotional stagnation in the relationship. The Antya Nadi's association with endings means that difficulties in this union tend to feel final and irreversible — depression, grief, and a pervasive heaviness that is harder to lift than the volatility of Aadi or the friction of Madhya. Respiratory, lymphatic, and cold-damp diseases are the constitutional vulnerabilities. Despite this, the classical exceptions and remedies are well-defined, and many couples with this dosha have thriving marriages when the cancellation conditions are present.
